Elk has been with us since the very first day we opened Good Thing ten years ago. They were one of the earliest brands we fell in love with—long before we opened our doors—and they’ve remained one of our longest-standing suppliers. Their slightly-left-of-mainstream aesthetic, thoughtful design, and unmistakable personality have always felt like a perfect fit for us.

When people walk in for a birthday card and get sidetracked by a gorgeous Elk dress, we’re never surprised. Elk, based in Melbourne, designs beautifully wearable clothing with clever detailing and a distinctly contemporary feel. They have their own stores in Melbourne but choose to work with a small, curated group of independent retailers around the world—so having them in our mix still feels special.
